New to group!

Hi everybody!

My name is Athena

I joined this group to try and speak to others that may be going through the same situation or gone through it at some time in the past.

My son is 7 and has ADHD.

I have him in medicine and it helps. He doesn't have problems with staying on task in school, however his teachers don't really differentiate to accommodate his needs. I'm meeting with them this week, it will be quite interesting. He has three to four tests each week. I feel exhausted reviewing for tests constantly and getting messages from his teachers telling me he did good, or unfortunately he did not do well.

I work all day as a teacher and then I come home and do this all evening on an almost daily basis. My son is a twin and I feel as if I'm always helping him and not helping my daughter out as much.

i joined this group hoping to talk to others that may be in the same situation.
