My 8 year old son was just diagnosed with ADD. I'm a single mom, but his father & I co-parent. We are starting a 504 plan with the school to help. I'm also looking to get him some therapy for some of the behaviors I'm seeing. He tends to get very frustrated, and at times just shuts down completely. This is so hard to deal with. I was wondering if anyone here has dealt with a similar issue? Thank you and so glad I found this resource

My son complete shuts downto sometimes I dont even know how or when to disaplint like is it something i spank him for or talk to him and make his see it in a different way type thing
