Hey I'm Hatti and this is my first time here. the 35 year old momma of an amazing loveable, loving, Lego Batman and Spiderman fanatic. I'm just trying to learn more about his diagnosis and treatment and for anything else I can learn from that will benefit him and myself for I was diagnosed with severe adult ADHD on top of multiple other mental health diagnosis. And maybe just find a place we can belong to a different kind of community where we help each other up when we fall down and can understand and relate and encourage one another and help and relate just understand one another to the fullest. To encourage and inspire other parents out there who are just like us. Because we're out there big and strong and we do have voices

Thank you for posting. I am here for the first time as well. My son is almost 8 and loves legos and machines of all kinds. We both have ADD. i feel so lost sometimes trying to help him. I am also about to turn 35... :). Right now school is our biggest struggle. I feel they set kids like him up to fail. Last year and kindergarten his teachers were so nice and reassuring, but now in 2nd grade his teacher sounds annoyed that he needs extra help.

I hated school growing up and sometimes still hate it now. But try to do my best to teach him to like it.
