Hello. My child is 11 and received his diagnosis a couple years ago but only now is in the process of being evaluated for a 504c plan. I would love to hear advice on:

--What types of accommodations have you found to help your child, in the context of a 504c or IEP?

--Are there any coaching services for kids/tweens that you have tried and like?

--Are there coaching services for parents of kids with ADHD that you have tried and can recommend?

Hi, the Chadd website has a directory by state for coaches, etc. chadd.org/Support/Directory...

I also suggest you check out Additude magazine. There are a lot of great articles on accommodations as well as ideas for coping. additudemag.com/

And last but not least, feel free to check out my website where I offer a lot of free information and ideas (including some ideas for accommodations) and I offer offer coaching for parents of tweens and teens.

Hope this helps!
