I've been wary of joining any challenges but I walked a kilometre on the beach today so have done 10 minutes twice.I also slowly ran across one bay as the tide was out and the sand firm ๐.
It's the first time I've been down the slopes and steps to the actual beach since 12 July ๐ I'm so happy and the sun shone for me.
Enjoy your walks challengers, I took my time and took so many photos ๐

Thanks, it's been such a great day and the beach has been calling, the slopes are quite steep and I've not felt safe on them until now so it's big progress. This photo from the top
๐Best news ever!!! This is such a fun challenge & we do have a few days grace thrown in. Amazing that you were able to run as well. All SO positive!! Beautiful day, beautiful photo!!
I managed a 10 min sunshiny round the suburbs walk today. Nothing to write about but I can tick โ day 3. Xx
We certainly did.. this was where we turned back on our walk in rain and wind on Tuesday (which I had intended to put in a post but didnโt get round to..) We decided not to risk going past the railings and down the steps to the beach.. usually there is a trickle of water but it had become a noisy waterfall! Expand the photo to see the torrent..
Yes exactly.. we had set off on a duty dog walk feeling tired and grumpy and unmotivated, then found our planned short walk route closed for repairs - so we turned down the cold windy route to the sea feeling even more grumpy, but by the time we got there we were cheered up - and went home feeling thoroughly invigorated.. (and wet through)..๐คฃ
Definitely! For a second I thought the dog was going in, and I had a vision of her being washed under that railing and over the edge.. luckily I shouted to her and she stopped but it was a heart-stopping moment.. what the photo doesnโt show is the noise of the rushing water..
I love seeing all those pics! Such a beautiful place to walk, and so awesome for you to get out there and back to walking. Take it easy and slow. As Oldfloss taught us: slowly does it!
Go you!! This will power and determination is so admirable and inspiring!
Grumpy and reluctant-as mentioned in other replies- just about sums me up but effort usually cheers the spirits and strength can rebuild incrementally from it. X
