Happy Season Wishes and Happy Easter for those who celebrate it.

As an Easter greeting, I thought I’d pull together some ideas for walks during this season of Easter-egg hunts and spring renewal, for those regions that have it:

1. **Easter Egg Hunt Trail**: Create a trail in a local park or garden where participants can hunt for Chocolate Easter eggs. 😋🍫

2. **Spring Blossom Stroll**: Find a route that passes by streets lined with cherry blossoms or other spring flowers in bloom.

3. **Historic Church Walk**: Take a leisurely stroll to visit historic churches and thir outside spaces.

4. **Farm Visit**: Visit a local farm where you can see newborn animals..

5. **Riverside Ramble**: Enjoy a walk along a riverbank, listening to the sounds of nature awakening in spring.

6. **Botanical Garden Tour**: Explore a botanical garden showcasing spring blooms, such as tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths.

7. **Picnic in the Park**: Pack a picnic basket with Easter-themed treats and head to a nearby park for a relaxing afternoon surrounded by the sights and sounds of spring.

8. **Nature Reserve Trek**: Take a guided walk through a local nature reserve, learning about the flora and fauna.

9. **Family Nature Scavenger Hunt**: Create a scavenger hunt checklist with items like budding trees, chirping birds, and colourful flowers for families to find on a nature walk.

Happy walking and a very happy Easter to you CBDB, I got my walking and running Easter Weekend of to a good start this morning by going a 10K walk on one of my 10K running routes, I didn't see any Easter bunnies but I did see 15 runners, 4 cyclists and many other walkers enjoying the Spring sunshine, tomorrow parkrun day and on Sunday and Monday two more 10K walks.

That is an absolutely brilliant list CBDB and I shall be making good use of it (This is only the second year that my now 24 year old son has not wanted to do an Easter egg hunt....)

LOL, my son is not much younger but we are all still firmly in the egg hunting mode, and regularly manage to rope in some puzzled guests who are often not used to egg hunting! 🤣🤣 They usually indulge us, before us all moving to more traditional Easter treats. 😄😀

Thank you, CBDB , and happy long weekend to you and everybody here!

I was lucky enough to be able to start off my 4-day-weekend (which is how long every weekend should be...) with a Pilates session at the local studio 🥳 Before they're closed for a week, they decided to offer a couple extra classes on a holiday. The classes were close to sold out, so it was a success for them as well.

Then a nice walk with a friend in the afternoon. This afternoon, I'll be checking out a Japanese cherry tree lined path to see if they are blossoming yet... Hopefully, by then the grey sky will have given way to the sunshine promised in the forecast...
