I went for a walk at 6.25 am . It was 7 degrees , cold , wish I had my gloves. It was dark and a lot of leaves on the ground so decided to walk on road as you never know what’s lurking under leaves. Not many cars about still dark and with clocks changed will be even darker in mornings. Might need the torch. Met a couple of early morning joggers passed the duck pond and man with dog but nobody else about. Walked in time of 1 hour 15 mins. Fed the birds when I got home and back for shower and breakfast. Earned my Garmin spooky halloween badge .
Happy hallowe’en 🎃👻

Well done to you Doris8 on that early Halloween walk in the dark, with the clocks going back in the early hours it's in the late afternoon, not morning that it gets dark a hour earlier.
My walk today was just short of 8K, 7.97km to be precise, while walking 🚶 I saw 14 runners, one of them was running very fast, I would say his pace was around 22 minutes 5K pace, very fast, the final runner I saw was running at about 40 minutes 5K pace and as I was walking quite quickly I told her as she passed me about a new parkrun near to where she lived, I ran with her for about 30 seconds, she told me in those 30 seconds that she might go to that parkrun.
yes I realise it gets dark at nights with clock changing. Especially notice it when we come home from work. Hope you enjoy your Parkwalk with your family.
Did you see any Halloween decorations? We’ve got a few neighbours with decorations, but having lived in the US, it’s rather much more subdued here in the UK compared to US.
There are a few houses nearby to where I live, in fact on my running route who have white ghostly shades and big imatation spiders on the outside wall trying to get into the house, also, many skelotons in their gardens with signs saying ".do not enter, this is a haunted house"lol
just saw one house on my walk with pumpkins and ghostly outside, .Mr D saw a couple of his houses on his run. As you say I think more subdued here. Plenty of decorations in shops along with Christmas ( 🙁) too early for me.
