This morning I walked into town as there was a small market in the town square, this is the path hone but I turned into the forest as it was such a nice morning and walked for 82 mins 44 briskly.
There are lots of thistles in seed along this path just before these purple loosestrife and there was a flock of goldfinches feeding on them but I had to photograph these loosestrife as they are so attractive lining the foot path with the forest in the background. It shows that even a humble weed has its place.
In the forest were buzzards hovering and “mewing” for a mate it’s a loud screeching noise, I love watching buzzards soaring majestically in the sky, I find it very therapeutic as I do being amongst nature.
I’ve goldfinches feeding in my garden now so they must have followed me home…
Thank you Curlygurly2 it was lovey seeing a flock of goldfinches they like the black sunflower seeds that I feed them and this is minutes from my home so we get lots of birds around here. 😊
Hi looks lovely to walk past, you obviously had sunshine and blue sky. Drizzle and cloudy yesterday . Love the colour of the thistles. . Enjoy your weekend 😊
Hi Doris, yes it’s was a lovely day here yesterday the sun is trying to come out now and then we’ve 2 more sunny days with thunderstorms coming in from the SW typical U.K. weather. LOL…🌞🌞🌞☔️
I hope that you’ve recovered from your fall especially in stinging nettles is not a nice experience.
