Since kidney transplant in January I have had to drain off fluid containing chyle through my PD tube. Has anyone had this experience?

Hi there! Did you mean to post this in the Early CKD Support community?

I hope you are feeling OK after your transplant, although it sounds like you're experiencing some problems. Are you having to stay indoors at the moment?

Not sure where to post it. I had transplant in January, kidney not functioning fully, very slow progress been in isolation since January. Still have PD in place and using this every 3 days to drain out chyle liquid which is milky coloured. Draining out 1000/1400 each time. Has anyone had the same problem? Any help or advice would be appreciated.

This community is supporting people who use the Active10 app to walk for exercise, so there may be some people on here who can help you - but to be honest this is a pretty quiet place at the best of times!

If you haven't already, maybe try joining, and posting on some or all of the following Health Unlocked communities:

Or try searching for other Health Unlocked communities: healthunlocked.com/search/c...

Sorry I cannot be of more help, but I wish you all the best xx
