I am new to this group. I thought that maybe looking at walking in small amounts each day would feel more manageable to me than trying to go for a long walk or walking to work which would take me around an hour. That is my goal eventually to be able to walk to or from work a few times a week.

Hi T2328, welcome to our friendly forum! So glad you've found us! The best thing about Active 10, for me, is that I get huge health benefits from walking for just 10mins, 3 times a day. I try to get 1 or 2 longer walks in a week, but they are more like meanderings, because I have mobility issues! It sounds like you are on a similar path - and your goals are very realistic! Post often - our lovely members will encourage and support you on your journey to better health and fitness! Good luck!
Thanks. I will post as often as I can. I am encouraged by the support and have since downloading the app been a 10 minute walk this lunch time, which had the added benefit of getting me out of the office in the fresh air and stopped me having my lunch too early!
