Healthy Breakfasts and Walking @10,000 steps a day.

Have managed my 10k steps yesterday and today and am now going to look for some healthy breakfast ideas that don't include toast or cereal. Anyone got any good ideas as I'm trying to cut down on bread and toast and I don't like porridge at all. I can manage cereals but not a big fan so wouldn't want them more than a couple of times a week. This week I've been having bacon in the microwave with a poached egg and cherry tomatoes but don't think I face that 3 or 4 days on the trot, so any suggestions would be great!

I have eggs, mushrooms , cottage cheese, tuna, guacamole, ryvita dark rye, bananas and multi-seed flatbreads in the fridge and store cupboards, so open to suggestions!

Thanks champak for your suggestions. Haven't tried almond flour so that sounds most interesting as I just love pancakes. Will see if our local baker has any almond flour as he has won loads of awards so if he doesn't have it I'm sure he'll try and get it for me. Not tried flax seed oil will I get it locally or should I look online?

The guacamole or mashed avocado with sardines on top.

Good morning! I'm having a late breakfast as I write this - not from stuff you have in the fridge/store cupboard, but healthy and yummy too. I have Greek joghurt with frozen berries, sprinkled with a few crushed linseeds and topped with a few walnut halves and a drizzle of honey. One of my favourite meals!

One of my aunts has something similar every morning and she's almost 90 now so she must be doing something right! She practises her TaiChi every morning too... My grandmother was still doing her exercises at 103 every morning too.
