Hello people me again . I was wondering how people actually solve their problems everywhere find stories of people saying " I had this problem and one day I found something on internet and it changed my life I'm a whole new person and all that whereas I have been searching on internet , books , etc. and asking mostly online and it has been almost 2 years or more I won't say there is no change but I think when it comes to work I'm literally right there where I started . The saddest things is that now I'm not even sad about . My depression has almost vashished but I think I'll ruin my life like this . I have to work which I never do this should make me angry about myself but its not. If you don't wanna suggest just talk to . Please. And if you don't have time for a stupid teenage girl who you don't even know than also its cool I totally understand .
Thanks for reading.

Hello Mannara,
I guess those of us that want to find solutions to 'problems' will look in a variety of places. It really depends on the type of problem.
If it is to improve how we might cope with things we may talk to friends, our family or we may search the internet. Probably searching for ways we can help our self. It depends on the type of self-help we feel we need. We can look for self-help books, maybe visit a local library. If we feel we need help with mental health then we go to see our Doctor. If he/she cannot help then our Doctor will refer us to someone who can, for example Psychologist, Counsellor etc. They can then help us to work through any issues and give us support as we learn new ways of thinking or coping.
Very interesting question thank you, let's throw it open and see how other members dealt with their health issues.
Good to hear that the distraction of checking out the internet etc has lifted your depression and sadness, that's a very positive improvement, testament to what the doctors say, distraction is a major coping strategy.
Stupid teenage girl? There’s your problem... you’re not! You are probably very kind, sensitive, loving, caring and pretty smart. And by smart I don’t necessarily mean book smart. Just smart in general.
So stop telling yourself things that aren’t true and don’t sell yourself short to make others feel better about themselves.
Remember! You become what you think about.
Your mind is a garden and you plant what you think about - thoughts always precede actions.
Your mind is a garden and weeds will come up from time to time… the weeds are your negative thoughts. Find the weeds and dig them up by the root!
Remember a successful farmer always cultivates his land - cultivate your mind for: success, happiness, prosperity, kindness, forgiveness, love, opulence, understanding, gratitude, abundance and watch the seeds sprout and manifest. Life is constant reaping and sowing. what you put in is what you get back. Our thoughts return to us in astounding accuracy.
Ok back to the point... Squats cured my depression!
HI, Manara. I consider the above 2 comments really helpful. I'm an old man and suffered depression for years until my doctor sorted out medic that suited MY needs. Depression etc. is not a general disease--you have to have a solution that suits YOU. Remember: 'nullius in verba'
