I used to have some quieter days

But maybe that was just a phase

I know how you feel. I had a 20 min break from mine one morning when I had my breakfast. It was sheer bliss.

Resist. Try to understand why it is sometimes louder and sometimes not. Anyway try to ignore it.

Seriously though you might like to try a low dose of Nortryptaline or Cinnarazine 15mg have a chat with your doctor.

I take 15mg of Amitrptyline & have mentioned Nortryptaline to my doctor but he said they're pretty much the same. My T is worse than it was then, so do you think I should have another chat with him & try it? I guess I've got nothing to lose!!

I would see if he could trial you on Cinnarazine 15mg 3 -6 aday.

It's used for Menieres but for reducing tinnitus too! Worth a shot to take it on extra loud days.

Do you mean 15mg Cinnarazine 3 - 6 times a day? Bit concerned I'd feel drowsy all day!! I have a doctors appointment next week so I'll ask about all this then.
