Dymista fixed my tinnitus

I know those won’t help everyone.

I was truly distressed when I developed tinnitus , I thought it may have been caused by Buprenorphine which has totally eliminated nightly torture from RLS.

I was also having trouble with severe headache when flying which we do a lot of longhall international flights.

The doctor put me on Dymista 1 st month instructions where twice a day ( I do am and pm. )

2 nd month I am to reduce to once daily

Within days I have started noticing a big difference.

I am still in my first 2 weeks and I can say it has been life changing, now I am wondering was the tinnitus a result from having Covid and hopefully it might fully go.

So whilst it’s not totally resolved absolutely much improved and hopefully it continues to improve.

I also ensure I have my head looking at the floor when I use the nose spray to help angle it to the ears and they recommend popping your ears after use as this acts as a pump to draw Dymista to the correct part of the ear.

I hope this may helps someone else

So do you think the Buprenorphine contributed to the Tinnitis and are you still taking Temgesic.

no I don’t take Temgesic

I take Buprenorphine for over 3 years and did not have tinnitus until after Covid at Easter this year.

However even if it was Buprenorphine I would choose tinnitus any day of ver RLS .

Recent Hearing test was perfect and tinnitus much better since Dymista

Interesting. I too have rls and tinnitus. My rls is under control at the moment but my tinnitus ramped up, I believe after I got covid a while ago. I haven't heard before about demista but anything is worth a go. I see you can get it over the counter so can try without a doctor's visit

A friend of mine has developed sever tinnitus as a consequence of covid although the direct cause was an ear infection contracted whilst low , I wonder if there has been a general up tick

that’s fascinating, Shumbah. I often use a similar nasal spray though it has no effect whatsoever on the T. I am also on Bupr. and again, that has no effect on the T either!
