Twenty years ago I had an ovarian cyst but they were reluctant to remove it as I had a lot of adhesions from previous surgery. I had a series of acupuncture treatments. ( I think it was every 2 weeks for 6 months) Expensive but when I had my next scan the cyst had completely disappeared! I told the consultant about the acupuncture... he looked at me and said 'If you want to believe that my dear that's OK!!!' BTW the cyst never came back
