Urinary Tract Infection

When I seen the nurse yesterday, she wanted to examine me and I was not expecting this. I was tense, nervous anxious, she asked had I been abused, i said no of course not.I felt uncomfortable, I don't have anyone to talk to. My friend didn't understand which upset me

I havent had relations for 20 years as sex too painful with fibroid cysts then I was unwell for year with mental health. I feel so alone, I dont think the nurse understood.To make matters worse I am incontinent and have back surgery

🤔 Can you speak to your GP about this, there will be a record of your health problems, there could be a link to your UTI.

Internal examination can feel intrusive..but it can help diagnosis a problem.
