Strange brown patch

Hello everyone, I noticed a week or two ago that I have a strange brown patch on my thumb print. My first thought was have I burnt myself and not remembered, however it is not getting any better. I just wondered if anyone has had anything similar? I have attached a photo.

If you press on it or pinch it do you have any pain or itch?

No I've just tried that and it doesn't hurt or itch at all?
