I just got my bw back and my white blood cells are 4.0 and red blood cells are 3.93 and my hemoglobin is 11.5 and lab report just says low. Do I need to worry as so scared something is seriously wrong. Thanks

Did you get your ferritin levels (irons stores) tested?

Low haemoglobin levels indicate iron deficiency anaemia, however as you haven't posted all your results with ranges no one can give you a clear indication of what could be wrong.

Ranges vary by lab so when you post blood work results on forums you need to post everything you get a part from details that will identify you.

my hemoglobin was 11.6 and hematocrit was 34.9 and everything else was in range and tsp was in normal range except protein which was 6.2 and all the other tests were in range as I feel fine. Just nervous about these results as they changed the reference values as 6 months ago it would have been in range. Ferritin was normal. Any advice why those numbers could be low

all Feratin and iron and b12 was in normal range says I was a little anemic and want to riaise my grf and hemoglobin which was 11.6 and grf 50
