Should I see my doctor?

So, I use to be on the depo shot for 9 months. I stopped taking it to give myself a break. I have discharge coming out that’s almost like toilet paper. My period started out on track and now it’s not a normal cycle. I’m not sure what to do.

Bleeding after the Depo-Provera shot wears off

The hormone from the birth control shot stays in your body for at least three months. Side effects, such as bleeding, may continue for several weeks beyond the shot's effectiveness window. These side effects may last for several more weeks or months after stopping.

The symptoms ( discharge and bleeding) could very well be normal for you, this does seem to be the expected outcome after stopping, but for peace of mind speak to a doctor.
