Hi, Looking for advise due the COVID-19, I’ve just plodded on however I’ve got to the point where I’ve had enough!
Fed up with hot flushes every 5 minutes & have been an emotional wreck for weeks. I struggle to focus, remember stuff, stay awake passed 9pm but them cant sleep once l go to bed etc, always thirsty also worry so much about my 17 & 13 year old.
I took it upon myself to ask the GP to put me back on HRT on Friday as I’d had health issues last year which we thought was due to the endometriosis and menopause. However it was discs in my back pressing on my nerves causing be so much pain. They changed my medication to Venlafaxine 37.5mg of which l don’t think is now working so l’ve been given zumenon.
Please do any of you have any advise!

Try to talk your doctor into putting you on HRT. I'm 72 and I was finally able to convince my doctor to put me on it. I (along with thousands of other women) were scared off of HRT when the flawed WHO study came out regarding HRT treatments. Millions of women were made to suffer needlessly over this crappy study...some doctors are now realizing that HRT can be a really good thing! Yes..just like any other medication, it has side effects...but all roads do not lead to breast cancer or strokes! I'll take my chances..I would rather have a good quality of life now, than to suffer with hot flashes...night sweats..mood swings..poor quality of life for years and years and years...been there done that..NO MORE!
Exactly the same symptoms I went on HRT patches for and more.
I still can’t stay awake past 8.30 pm lol ... I feel I have a little more motivation since I have been on them.
I have finally been put on HRT patches at the age of 56 except the patch the dr wanted to put me on isn’t available until 2021.
I heard a Podcast by Dr Louise Newson ( who is a GP and menopause specialist)with Davina McCall discussing her menopause.
Dr Newson also has a great website. Oh I’ve forgotten what I was going to say. When I looked at the website I sobbed because I thought I was going mad.
Hope you find some help there there may also be an app
