Kidney problems - stone or not?

Hello, I’ve had reoccurring urine and kidney problems for years. I have 3 times amount of blood in my urine, doc saw a ‘what he thought was a 13mm stone in my kidney via ultrasound’ had ct scan ... no stone! A dull ache in my right kidney nearly every day, somedays I feel very tired. Seeing a specialist in a few weeks. Can a ct scan miss a stone? All a bit strange...
