Meat directives

I’m interested in bread and how processed foods are cooked and wandering if any of the ingredients are from animals and if so which ones.

I don’t mean stored in the same place or cooked in the same oven. I mean additives, binders, preservatives that sought of thing.

If anyone knows more than me or where I could find out. I’d appreciate it. Thanks, Melissa.

If baking bread yourself, you would typically include some milk and sometimes eggs. Commercial breads are different, some may contain milk, some may contain eggs, some may contain neither. You can easily look up vegan bread brands if you're looking for something that doesn't have any animal derivatives in it.
