Hi am 46 and struggling with my weight and fitness. I feel like every time I get started my motivation hits a plateau 😔. I am doing the c25k app and hope to complete it.

Any support or advice would be really appreciated.

Hi Make sure you post on the c25k forum for support , I see your post was 2 weeks ago, how is it going ? I have just completed w4r1, it is hard work, but I feel fitter and better for it . 😀

Hey, I would say keep going with your C25k - you’ll find that you start to feel a lot better after a while - endorphins kickin after running and i certainly find it helps me feel mentally positive as well. Something I’ve done is created goals along the way with rewards - so for example when I get to the end of week 5 (nearly there) I’m off for a pamper session!

Hi, I started C25k in February. Hard going at first and did week 6 twice as got side-tracked by snow! I found it hard at first, I’ve never really done any significant exercise (I’m 46) but it does get easier. I’m running 3 x a week now but usually 1 x5k and 2 x3k. I have more energy- which in turn makes me want to eat a more healthy diet, so win win. Stick at it!
