Frequent urination, what's wrong?

I have a mild pain when urinating and I have to go to the bathroom multiple times in one hour. I don't drink coffee or tea, but I can't control the frequent urination. What's wrong there? Should I go to see my doctor or wait for it go away on its own?

Lisa271,

You've possibly got a urinary tract infection and should see your doctor. In the meantime drink plenty of water to help flush the infection.

Def go and see your doctor. Take a urine sample with younin a clean jar too. It saves times as they can test the urine there for a sign of infection.

Like Clutter says plenty of water.

Emergency appt too. Best wishes ❤️

Thank you for your reply. My doctor prescribed me with antibiotics but I'm allergic to most of them, so I decided to take a herbal medicine called Diuretic and Anti-inflammatory Pill. My friend told me it's also effective.

Urination is the process to get rid of waste fluid from our body. Urine includes water, urea, uric acid, and toxins and waste filtered from within the body. Kidney plays a vital role in this process. A normal count of urination is 6-7 times a day, If this count increases to 3lt urine a day, then this is called polyuria. Drinking a lot of fluids, especially caffeine or alcohol are the main cause of frequent urination. This can interrupt the sleep cycle with urges to urinate. Frequent urination can also develop as a habit. It can be a sign of kidney or ureter problems, urinary bladder problems, or another medical condition, such as diabetes diabetes insipidus, pregnancy, or prostate gland problems. The related factors for urination are: urinary tract infection, anxiety, stroke, interstitial cystitis, kidney stones and colon diverticulitis.

Now, How to prevent this:

The urine passing can be limit to a moderate amount by having a balanced diet and an active lifestyle. Limiting alcohol and caffeine intake and cutting out foods that can irritate the bladder or act as a diuretic, such as chocolate, spicy foods, and artificial sweeteners can also prevent prequent urination.

Treatments for Excessive urine passing involves antibiotic treatment and painkiller therapy for bacterial kidney infection, Kegel exercises and Monitoring fluid intake.

Hope this may helps you.
