my bf was on it over a year ago he lost 8stone and put some back on, because youre denying your body of all food and only having liquids as soon as you introduce food back into your diet your poor body has forgotten what to do with it, id say if youre seriously considering these types of diets go for one that incorporates a healthy balanced approached where youre not denying your body of all the essential nutriends etc and if like me there are existing medical conditions alongside then research all the options first your body was made to digest food in solid form too !!!

You should look into Body By Vi if you re thinking of a diet plan. It's a 90 day challenge where you can replace 1 or 2 meals a day with a shake. It tastes so good and its so filling. You can make so many different flavors by adding fresh fruit and so many other ideas. It's full of protein and fiber and then you eat a sensible meal for your 3rd meal of the day. My husband has lost almost a stone in 2 weeks and I have lost a little less. We are adding in exercise this week to move it along a bit faster. "Diets" as such are often not particularly good things - see this link to get some idea of what I mean - nhs.uk/Livewell/loseweight/...

More important is to have a weight loss plan. There's lots of good free advice on the NHS live well lose weight pages including a free 12 week plan.

And no-one is "selling" you anything - it's all free!
