Hi, have you joined and posted a request for C25K buddy on the C25K community? It's a great community (as this one is 
also), quite active and very supportive. There are lots runners at all stages blogging and asking questions there, I am not sure if you'll find a local buddy but you'll certainly pick up a few virtual ones.
