Has anybody ever tried any tablets for weight loss? Do they have any side effects?

Weight loss pills.
Generally weight loss pills work by stopping/reducing the absorption of fat by your intestines.
So if you have a high fat diet they work, if you are already on a diet they probably won't work as you'd be cutting out the fat anyway.
I don't like the idea of this unless you are in desperate need of medical intervention - because it leads people to eat whatever they want as the pills get rid of the fat instead of learning better eating habits.
Oh and here's the best bit - the intestines DO NOT ABSORB the fat in your diet. Now have a think about how your body would expel that fat. Not nice. Personally I'd rather learn better eating habits or do some exercise to burn off some bad food than spend hours in the bathroom.
Oh right, ill stick to what I'm doing now then! Thanks for the insight.
I used to maintain my weight on various brands of weight loss pills. They have awful side affects the worse one I took made me hyperactive and I couldn't sleep and I always found that you gain more weight when you stop taking them.
I decided to give Reductil a go, about four weeks now, I had read about how strong appetite suppressant it is and I have convinced myself that it really helps. I have lost 4.5 kg so far...pretty happy with that. This is an achievement for me as I can't usually lose anything.
P.S. I've got them from meridiareductil.com ...just in case. Good luck all!
