5 years ago I was walking everyday and eating right and trying to get off my diabetes meds. I lost 50lbs was halfway to my goal weight and felt wonderful. Then I had a panic attack when my sugar dropped out on one of my walks and nothing has been the same since. I am on anxiety meds but I just can't seem to find motivation to do it all anymore. How do I find motivation again where there doesn't seem to be any?

Can't seem to stay motivated
I'm sorry this happened to you when you were doing so well!
One thing I'm trying to do is focusing on how I feel and adopting habits that make me feel healthy, strong and able to enjoy life. If the bi-product of those habits is weight loss, all the better! We only have one shot at this life, so I don't believe we should spend it feeling miserable, either because we're unhealthy or because we're depriving ourselves in order to meet a weight goal.
Give it some thought and you might find some healthy habits you will enjoy!
Best of luck

A lot of our members find their motivation in joining in with the forum, regularly. It can even be that giving some encouragement to other members feeds back to you, in making you feel stronger and more committed.
You joined the weigh in on Thursday a couple of weeks ago. Why not make that your target? A regular weigh in on Thursday, have a chat to other members and make sure you've checked out everything else that's on offer here healthunlocked.com/weight-l...
Hi SandraAnne I suffer from severe anxiety. I have no motivation to do anything much. I am currently trying to take on day at a time. And if I eat the wrong stuff/don't eat at all or spend the whole day in bed, unable to move, then so be it.In terms of food, my GP suggested trying to have an emergency food option, one you can eat when things are bad. Mine is frozen peas/ or frozen steamed veggies with microwave rice and microwave lentils.
Do you find you under eat or over eat or eat a particilar food on bad days?
