Hi everyone! I'm Carl, a 40 year old husband and dad with a passion for helping people. By day I work for a large multinational HR and Payroll company, and by night I am the host of my own podcast and help others to improve their mindset.
I joined this forum as someone who has struggled with weight since becoming a teenager. I've tried diets, joined gyms, watched my weight drop, increase and drop again.... multiple times. Two years ago I managed to make some really important changes in my own approach to weight loss that have helped maintain my healthier and happier lifestyle. I'm now on a mission to encourage others to do the same so am here to offer support.
I also mentioned "imposter syndrome" because as someone who has lost weight, I feel like I understand the ups and downs so many people here suffer because I've been there myself. At the same time though, my brain often kicks in, telling me "erm....Carl....You have struggled with your weight so who do you think you are to coach others or offer advice??) - I'm working on this because I've realised I truly enjoy helping others, and my experience is useful to share.
If you have any questions - I'm looking forward to meeting you!
