Hey, everybody.

A little real backstory: I've been doing bull$hit for 35 years, got fat (200lb, 5’9β€³ ) and became a lazy ass. A couple months ago, I realized that I need to change not something, but everything, and I need to start with myself! I hung a bar in my room, bought resistance bands and started doing pull-ups and dips. Soon I got the idea to do something really hard, almost impossible, as the result did not suit me. I gathered my strength and thoughts, and as always I put it off for a few months. Two weeks ago I decided to make a 180-degree turn in my life and came up with the Goal of completing 100 challenges in 100 days. So that I would have no way out at all, I decided to film it and upload it to YouTube so that there would be no turning back. And to make a long story short, I am now on day 10. There are 90 more days to go and I'm still alive, although my condition is like being on autopilot.

Now each of my days starts with:

1) Getting up at 5:00 a.m.

2) Running in the morning

3) Cold shower

Then...8-10 hours of remote work and a bunch of workouts till late night. I go to bed at 00 sometimes at 2, sleep 3-5 hours every day. I'm surprised I haven't burned out or gone crazy yet.

When I started, I didn't even think that I would be able to do anything and I didn't bother thinking up challenges. I took the most popular ones, such as push-ups, pull-ups, abs, dips and so on, so that I could do enough for 10-15 days. But now I have survived these 10 days and I don't intend to stop!

Now the question of life and death: please give me ideas what else I should add to my 100DaysToTransform challenge program. It doesn't have to be physical exercise, for example I was thinking one of the days to start practicing my posture and speed reading. But even with all that, my variety is limited to 20-25 challenges, and then I just don't know what I'm going to do! I'd love any ideas on what I can add to my Challenges for the next 90 days.

Hi, 100DaysToTransform :)

I'm not clear whether you're wanting to join the forum. It's all about mutual support - giving and receiving support and ideas. Have a look through our activities here healthunlocked.com/weight-l... and let me know what you think

Hi, BridgeGirl

I posted it here because it all started with the problem of being overweight. And I thought that here people who have overcome excess weight can give good advice, what worked best in their case and I can add it to my program. But I apologize if I'm a little bit in the wrong placeπŸ˜…

That's fine, what I mean is the way the forum works is two-way: if you join in with activities you'll definitely get advice - and you can pass on your tips. That tends to work better than one-off posts :)

Have a look through the list I've given you the link to: I'd suggest the Daily Diary and Hopalong1 's Countdown to Christmas challenge.

Onwards and downwards ...

20 years ago I took up roler blades at the time I remembered back when I was just starting full time work, next to where I worked was an ice skating ring which a friends mother worked at a few of us would go to in place of eating we could get 50 minutes on the ice my friends mother would have all of our skates ready to go and away we went at the time we all thought we were great skaters, so back to rollerblading I thought that it would be more like ice skating than skating on quads, to start with I went and started with an hour skating each week then started twice a week then increased until I was there for up to 4 hours each time I started to notice that I was losing weight so I started weighing my self before I went and then just as I came home again and worked out I was losing a 2 to 3 pounds of weight each night and that was including me drinking a couple of pints a night over a month I was losing around 15 to 20 pounds which stayed off, the 2 to 3 pounds that I lost per night I put most of it back the days I did not skate but losing 15 pounds a month was great better than most diets I tried in the past, so if you want a way to lose a bit of weight find a pastime where you have to work hard to do but you enjoy doing it then you will keep the weight off.

Thank you, Poppy_AnnπŸ˜€

Ice or roller skating is a great idea to add it to my program, but I think at this point I need something simpler. I mean, something I can do from the comfort of my apartment. For example, I'm already good at push-ups and squats and I'm adding new challenges little by little.

well, here’s one idea: DO NOT compromise sleep! Your body will not thank you for it.
