Help. What can I do?

I have a relative who is anorexic and in recovery. I buy in calorie laden food for them and am trying to lose weight, live alone and am struggling with this problem. Can anyone suggest what to do as I keep the food in a cupboard away from the kitchen but still eat it and my weight is going up not down? Unfortunately, they are often not eating all the food I buy, hence the reason why I end up eating the remainder after they go away. It could easily be kept until they visit again. I recognise that I am also comfort eating following bereavement and it is not helping me.

Are you the only one who can do this? Maybe you could be the one to supply the funds and someone else could do the shopping and storing?

And, BTW, if these are sugar-laden or junk foods (easily stored) foods, IMO they are not necessarily going to be great for your anorexic relative either. Something like fruit, bought right before the visit, is good for everyone.
