Healthy Brownies
They look delicious. Please can we have the recipe?
Good morning, Read4 and welcome back to the forum
I don't know what plan you're following but I would warn you that the dates in this recipe are full of sugar and the sweet potato and oats are carbohydrate-rich, so would also convert to sugar in the bloodstream. Maybe best avoided, or at least don't cook a batch of them.
Have a good look around the forum to remind yourself what's on offer. You'll see members post their meal plans on the daily diary, there's Springers Specials (this month it's on seasonal veg), Hopalong1 is running a challenge to take us up to Christmas, and you might also like to join the weigh in, whichever day suits you.

So you're saying my brownies are dangerous brownies they have no health benefits in them they are worse than the conventional recipe?
If so I apologise I thought the sweet potatoes had b vitamins in them
There's one recipe they use maple syrup but I didn't think this was healthy
Sweet potatoes have less carbs and oats are good for cholesterol. I lost my weight eating sweet potatoes instead of white potatoes, and swapping out other carbs for more nutritional options.
Hope this helps.
Thank you. My main thing was the lower GI when I was losing weight.
You probably already know about all this then, but I thought I'd post it just incase. No doubt that the boiled sweet potato comes out on top for weight loss.
