Another week over and another pound lost, at long last!
It got me thinking back to when I was at school. The patterns of education; turning up week in and week out; the same patterns year in year out for what seemed like an eternity. All because your parents said you had to go. I blamed them, and they blamed the government.
As an aside I went to an all-girls school. Well to be precise when I went the third and fourth years were all girls, but by then it was a comprehensive. This is good because as a lad with four sisters, I did not want to wear the compulsory skirts for girls.
There were still tell-tale signs all over the building. Like it was an older building, but the changing rooms for P.E. had brand new signs, one for “girls” and one for “boys.” It was the same too for the toilets, the girls were on one floor and the boys on another. Of course, when it was all for just one gender you did not need toilets opposite each other, so one gender had a longer walk.
We still had the same headmistress who still insisted no patent leather shoes because of what they may reflect on young ladies, and “there were many teenage boys who were rampant with hormones!” For this reason, I chose Pink Floyd’s, “Another Brick in the Wall.”
We are all unique and we all have our life’s challenges. We all see life differently. I may have lusted after some of the young ladies when I was younger and at school, now however my lusts are after being healthy and ensuring I maintain a healthy weight and mind.
What about you? What drives you? What are your aims in life?
Enjoy your reminiscing this week.

(Part 2)
We don't need no education
We don't need no thought control
No dark sarcasm in the classroom
Teachers, leave them kids alone
Hey, Teachers, leave those kids alone
..
All in all its just another brick in the wall
All in all you're just another brick in the wall
