I have yo yo dieted for many years. Always losing and then putting it back on plus a few more pounds. I have been to WW and Slimming World, attempted Janes, Slender and other similar stuff even fat busting pills. Nothing works until you want it to and take it seriously. I now want to lose my excess and have joined HealthUnlocked and downloaded an app called NutraCheck which has all types of food listed and the calories and is a sort of food diary to which you can link to your Fitbit. I am not perfect so expect odd hiccups but today is not tomorrow and tomorrow is not today. I am aiming at 1 to 1.5 lbs per week. Wish me luck 🌻

Thank you but my weigh day is Friday as I started last Friday but did not join this sight straight away so will be doing my first weigh in this Friday but thank you hope you have done well this week 👍
I feel a lot of plans you don't have any control over especially those that include drinking liquids instead of a meal . These may encourage a kick start but I couldn't sustain them as a lifestyle which is what most want to achieve or else the weight is back on and the effort puts us off starting again . The simplest way is portion control and eat fresh plus regular exercise . I try and eat 3 decent meals a day , not eating anything after my evening meal . I don't ban anything but I only have the occasional 'treat'. After years of trying a lot of different eating plans this is the only thing that has ever worked for me .
