Please may I join your Saturday weigh in.I have been absent for quite awhile.
Just spent time reading recent posts on the forum and am blown away by the support ( which has always been there ) for everyone needing help to lose weight.
I have 4st 3lbs to lose, am lucky enough to be relatively healthy but am worried sick about my inability to do anything about my obesity.
My problem is that I eat too much chocolate and drink too much wine.
If I can resist those things I know I will crack the weight loss challenge and will feel so much better about myself.
On the plus side, I love to cook healthy recipes, love exercise especially walking outdoors in nature.
In this new year I feel truly grateful to be alive, so many were stricken by the terrible pandemic last year. I feel complacency is not the way to go in 2021. I want to be the best version of myself I can. I really want to do this.
So my first goal is to lose a stone in 8 weeks, then another in 16 weeks, then a third in 24 weeks - the date of my holiday to Turkey.
My plan is to eat 3 healthy meals a day and limit chocolate, cake and crisps to the weekend.
My menu for starters today is:
Grilled bacon and tomato bagel and an orange (350 cals)
Apple and gouda cheese (200)
Veggie chilli and brown rice (500)
3 coffees/teas (120)
2 glasses of Prosecco (250)
Snack-Banana (100)
Total 1520 and one hour brisk walk and 10 minutes tone and stretch exercises.
