Breakfast vegan options

Hello 👋 everyone,

I have been using the NHS breakfast 🍳 options sleep nice more than one year now and I am vegan 🌱 also I don’t use any sugar , salt or fat in my food and this is as per THE WHO health recommendation.

the issue is that I feel like I have not much options for my meals !

Today for example as I used to mimic the NHS breakfast options (unsweetened musli with raisins and nuts and banana ) special soy milk as I don’t eat dairy products! . Today, my musli box almost finished and I used a popcorn 🍿 (plain and microwave) instead of the musli 😂

And this is exactly what i mean by not having enough breakfast options.

You're only limited by your imagination, alaaddin. Breakfast literally means 'breaking your fast', it doesn't mean 'time for a cereal meal'. You could have soup, curry, salad, roasted veg and any number of things, just put vegan recipes into your search engine, or spend some time reading the daily diary for dozens of ideas.

I agree! I had a work colleague who was vegan sugar-free, organic, wheat-free etc. She loved food! It did involve a lot of planning and creativity but she really loved what she ate. :)

Morning, I've been vegan for many years and don't feel limited at breakfast. I often go for a smoothie (banana, 1 other fruit, sometimes 1 veg, pea protein, soya milk and water). Other times, porridge with water and soya milk plus fruit (frozen berries work well). Scrambled tofu on toast (or bread alternative) works well. Or you could have tofu with spinach and other veg. Loads of choice there! :)

There's also things like nuts, nut butters, buckwheat groats, etc. You may like some Deliciously Ella recipes (vegan and wheat-free, could adapt to exclude other things too). Let me know how you get on!
