So the cold is finally going and I am continuing my running. Trying to stop eating as many carbs as I normally do is trickier than I thought it would be...because everything I love is full of carbs. Maybe I may leave that one until after October half-term, when I get back from holiday. Pleased with my calorie intake and also my exercising. One day at a time. One day at a time!
Just replacing one carb rich ingredient in one meal a week is a start and much better than doing nothing for weeks and then complicating things by trying to do it all at once. You'll be thankful in the end. I wish I'd known all this thirty years ago.
Are you concerned about your carbs as you want to try LCHF or even MCMF or for a different reason?
I swapped some of my carbs for better GI carbs and have lost weight and am no longer pre-diabetic. My swaps are : wholegrain rice instead of white rice, sweet potatoes instead of white potatoes. Cut sugar right back ( I didn't have that much of it anyway! )
