All this info about exercise and weight loss is great. Until you notice theres no advice for the disabled. You have disabled people on your ads but no advice when you go to the website. Looks like being as my calorie intake is what you advise but I still gained weight I'll be staying obese.

Hello Hidden and welcome to the Weigh Loss Forum
I’m not sure what adverts you’re referring to but presume it’s one of the NHS ones. This a member led, peer to peer support group. We are all on our own weight loss journeys, no-one is employed by the NHS. We come in all shapes and sizes and have a wide variety of physical ability. Please let me reassure you that weight loss is much more about what you eat than how much you can move. 😊
If you haven’t already then please read the Welcome Message in Pinned Posts here healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh... Please read it carefully so you can find all the information you need to find your way around the forum. I also highly recommend the Diet Myths post and When Weight Loss is a Struggle, these may explain why the oft quoted and over-used “Eat Less and Move More” simply does not work for so many of us.
As a peer to peer support group we rely totally upon mutual encouragement. Nothing beats joining in, reading posts and replying to others. Our Group Weigh-in and the Daily Diary are probably the best places to start
Best wishes
Indigo 😊
Sadly the way you are advertised on NHS site makes you look like an affiliate, I have voiced my concern directly to
Hi rlhumphrey, if you search on 'NHS disability exercise' you'll find plenty of suggestions.
Fortunately, weight gain/loss is far more related to what and how we eat. And if you referring to the calorie intake the NHS advises (as IndigoBlue says, we're not the NHS), you need to find the correct range for you from the NHS BMI calculator.
I dont eat processed foods I eat a balanced diet my weight gain is mostly due to mobility issues and medication sadly
