Day 224: The Struggle.

I don't know about anyone else, but I am really struggling in this heat to do anything other than sit down. I am trying to move more and keep going, but the humidity is ridiculous. It's at times like this that I have far more respect for athletes that train in this heat all the time.

I'm exactly the same as you. Hardly any steps done and nibbling rubbish. Cant be bothered o think of meals and cook. Cant stand this humidity.

Totally understand, I tried to do one of my workout videos earlier, which I usully manage no problem, today I had to stop and gasp for air. Its awful.

Me too, did a walk this morning and a skinny women was walking behind me, she was like me but cut down the middle. I made sure she didn’t pass me even though I was limping terribly, puffing and panting then I realised it was the nurse at my surgery, who I told I didn’t know my weight, but was probably overweight. Now she’ll go back and write obese on my file! 🤥

😂 Funny how we ‘don’t know’ our weight.. I‘ve always done that. And to be honest I am not sure if I wouldn’t still resort to it if someone randomly asked me that question now...

😂😅glad its not just me! I feel quite bad about telling a white lie, normally I’m dead honest but I just couldn’t say actually I’m obese then get a lecture.

I was half tempted to say when I look in the mirror a fat person is looking back, if that helps! I don’t know if she had a sense of humour though.

I have broken up my 10k steps into an early morning 3k, late evening 4-5k and then general moving around a little during the day. Good luck. Bit cooler now so that should help.

That’s very sensible, I am not yet as fit as you so do 2.5k morning and 2.5 afternoon. Then I turn into a sloth after that.🤣🤣Trying to do my best.😁

Usually I get sleepy during the heat weather. I think my blood pressure decreases.

👍I feel the same in the late afternoon, I switch on a fan to cool me down.
