Struggle

How is it one week i am full of enthusiasm and the next week I struggle. Is it because I am out of a routine. Night shift one week 》one week holiday and meals out 》Then back to night shift. Exercise wise I am doing okay apart from when I am on nights. Back to normal on Saturday. Roll on Spring /Summer too!!

I think you answered your own questions, Htrep!

Lol. I thought so too. Mind you I needed a second opinion to see if others agreed 😆

Spot on! But to a certain extent, we are all in the same boat, so you have come to the right place for advice and support. 😊

Enthusiasm and motivation ebbs and flows, but it must be doubly hard with your shift pattern ... I find that lurking on the forum keeps me 'honest' and distracts me from food! Keep sticking to the plan, you'll get there! Have you set yourself a mini target and promised yourself a non-food reward when you achieve it? Good luck 🌻

I have been going to a slimming club and although there is excellent support, paying £5 a week to be told I have gained is not great. I did think about putting the £5 in a pot saving it and treating myself to a facial or massage. I have kept a stone off since last year which is good. If I lost another stone this coming year it would be great. 😊😊

With my Scottish blood I can't bear to pay for something as simple as getting on the scales! Check out the NHS 12 week weight loss plan and have a look at MyFitnessPal 😉 good luck 🌷

My blood is 100% Scottish too. I even traced my family tree to check!! SO! I will have to rethink this slimming club for a few weeks at least. I will feel better for the weight loss 😃Once these night shifts are over in have 5 weeks of 'NORMAL ' shifts 😊 so that may help. Thanks for the advice.Folliegirl 😆

I'm not Scottish but I must admit I don't like to spend money on something I can get free!!! Does that make me stingey????

😂😂

Me either!!

Do It! Massage sounds better than being told what you know already! You can weigh-in on this forum you know, and we won't charge you anything haha!
