Welcome back, sunblast :)

Maybe this time you'll get involved in forum activities, as that's the best way to stay on track and learn all there is to know about weight loss. You could jump straight in by joining today's weigh-in and daily diary.

As a reminder, all of the information you need about the forum can be found in Pinned Posts healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh... and I hope you'll be joining all the Events, Challenges and Clubs that we run, especially a weigh-in and the daily diary.

If you haven't already taken it, here's a tour of the forum healthunlocked.com/?tour=true

We've found active participation to be key to successful weight loss and, of course, it's a good way to get to know people, find inspiration and share support and encouragement.

Wishing you all the best :)

Welcome. A good starting point is to make a plan. Do you know how much weight you want to address? Do you have a weight-loss method in mind? Is there any type of exercise you enjoy?

I find a good way to approach anxiety and your decision to make a change, is to start working through the problem and choosing what to do. 😄

Welcome! I think the key is finding a way of eating that suits you. So if you can’t live without cheese, don’t choose a low fat diet! That way it’s sustainable. Personally I would concentrate on diet first and add in exercise gradually.

Snap on all counts. I'm in my 2nd week of calorie counting but exercise is alluding me. I have no words of wisdom to share with you yet, so thought I would share what I'm doing to try to start. Walk today and tomorrow then in the week, a bit of dancing around the kitchen whilst preparing meals! I might make 30 mins of exercise doing that😀

Hello and welcome, RaRa77 😊

Walking combined with dancing round the kitchen is an excellent plan. Just don't get them mixed up or you might frighten the neighbours :D

I see you've joined the Daily Diary. It will help to get into the habit so you can pick up ideas and get some feedback on your own plans. And in your profile, you mention past weight loss clubs that haven't worked long term. Have a look at this straightforward plan as a better option phcuk.org/wp-content/upload...

You'll find all the information you need about the forum in our Pinned Posts healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh... including a Welcome message, the Daily Diary and the current weigh in.

Why not join a weigh in over the weekend?

Take your time exploring. This gives you a tour of the forum healthunlocked.com/?tour=true and, along with Pinned Posts, will show you how things work. I hope you'll become an active member and we will see you joining in around the forum 😊

PS the app doesn’t give access to all parts of the forum so we advise everyone to get rid of the app and log on to the full website using the browser on their phone
