Welcome CRAIGYBOYS. People follow many different diets, whatever rocks your boat. I personally believe it has to be a lifestyle change to be a lasting change and that LCHF (Low Carbs High Fat) best suits this. It sort of suits me, I can't imagine calorie counting for the rest of my life. Note that I am saying Low Carb, not Keto as I can't imagine occasionally eating a sandwich either and all this almond flour or cauliflower pizza bases seema nonsense to me.
Having looked at your profile " 44yr old man. I'm 5ft 10 and weigh 14 st 9inch", I hope you have the unit wrong at the 9inch bit, we're not that type of forum
