Please also take a look at all of the Challenges, Clubs and Events that we have, to help to keep you motivated and engaged with the forum.

Hi Saima_shafi. I have always had problems with my weight but I am now having less carbohydrates and the weight is slowly coming off. There is lots on the internet about low carb eating. Basically no white bread, rice, pasta and nothing with lots of sugar in it. This way of eating has stopped my cravings for chocolate and ice cream - it's a miracle. Good luck. Lisa
Hello, my best suggestion would be to join our weigh in, here's the link to today's, hope to see you there! x

Good morning Saima,
I personally have tried all kind of weight loss diets like Slimmers World andWeight watchers over the last few years .
Unfortunately I found it very hard to lose weight while going out to different eating establishments and drinking in bars with friends . I couldn’t lose a great deal ( only 1 stone in three years ) .
My tip is to count calories and measure everything out and cut down on carbs and red meat .
Get in to fish , healthy stir fry’s and white meat . Always use fry light cooking spray too . Only oil I tend to use is sesame oil in stir fry’s only one tea spoon though ok .
This is bad advice. You shouldn't cut down on both carbs and fats. You have to eat something, you can't just eat protein.
I personally have had success cutting right back on carbs and letting the fats fall as they may. The NHS will advise you to cut right down on fats, and fill 1/3 of your plate with carbs. That advice seems to be making us all fat and sick, but many are following it.
Actually today I will be cutting down on both fats and carbs. It's called fasting.
Thanks
