I don't know if I piled on the weight slowly like half a pound a week but I have a feeling that this weight will come off slowly not rapidly.
It might just be literally half a pound a week weight loss if I'm lucky .Ah well see what happens tomorrow.

There are no quick fixes, I'm sad to say, Indigorouge . And what you say is also a sad truth - I can vouch for that. I put on over half a stone at the start of lockdown in just four weeks, after two years of maintaining pretty much a healthy weight, but despite being back on the wagon, eating sensibly, no snacks, I have only managed to lose 2lb in six weeks. You just have to stick at it! Good luck.
Hi, I have lost 6 st 4 times. Have put 60ibs back on over past year, binge eating is my main problem. Started LCHF and IF, 2 weeks ago, 14 days is the longest I have gone without bingeing in the last year. I assume it will take me at least as long to get the weight off as it was to put it on, but at least I think I am now on the right road. Good luck with your journey.
Oh I really feel for you and I have had a problem with this for ages
Keeping at it is the only solution I've found and being here helps enormously. Be good to see how you do 😃
Hi, I have only recently come to the conclusion that my binge eating is actually an eating disorder, not just me being greedy. Also only read about the whole insulin sensitivity thing on this site. As well as LCHF and IF, I also started HRT. All I can do is to take a day at a time, am hoping that this way of eating will help me keep the weight off for good. Thank you for replying 😊
I lost 30 lbs over a period of several years at about half a pound a week.
The good thing about losing weight slowly is that it is sustainable. You are not always hungry and, especially with LCHF, you don't get the urge to stuff your face on hungry nights.
