Clearing out my fridge!

I’ve been running everything down food-wise so this is just thrown together and a bit weird🤣

•85g Browns Wafer Thin Brisket Pastrami

•100g Tenderstem Broccoli, steamed

•1 ball Mozzarella, sliced

(The Mozzarella isn’t low fat but after being in Costco and resisting all the cakes and chocolate I deserved a little treat)

This was really filling and tasty (despite how random) and was 453 calories altogether. The less Mozzarella you have the less calories it will be.

I stopped buying or eating anything labelled low fat 6 months and 17kg ago. 👍

And I would never have eaten low fat mozzarella!! 🤢

Yeah I personally think some low fat things are a cop out, I’m just enjoying healthier food at the moment and still have the things I enjoy in moderation. You’ve got to do Mozzarella the right way🤣

Please don’t be afraid of fat, it’s an essential nutrient, contains certain key fat-soluble vitamins and is excellent for keeping you full 😊

It’s nice to actually be on a diet that is for the benefit of long-term health. I’ve had enough of all the fad diets and it’s silly that I’ve only just realised that making simple changing in my cooking and eating is having an effect! I agree with you, instead of constantly thinking “I can’t have that” it’s nice to sometimes think “I’ve been good so I CAN have that in moderation” it honestly doesn’t feel like I’m on a diet at the moment! It’s amazing🤣🤣

In my experience, all products where the fat has been reduced are harmful. I lost weight by embracing fat and cutting right down on starches and sugars.

It's becoming more and more clear that the current NHS definition of "healthy eating" is driving the obesity and type II diabetes epidemic.
