So yesterday was an expensive day for me as i decided it was time to buy a fit bit and a 12week weightloss book and today my weightloss book arrived and boy im well excited.

My current weight is at 15stone, i would like to loose a stone and be at 14stone in 3months time. So now its time to find out is it possible? Watch this space....

Also learnt to never tell your fiance anything, when telling him what i ordered his answer was: oh boy it got serious

My response: oh lord🙈🤣

I'm cautious of setting time goals, because that turns a 12lb weight loss at the end of 3 months (pretty good, 1lb/week) from a success to a failure because it wasn't a stone.

But you have a good chance of hitting that goal, so good luck.

I hope the fiance is going to be supportive.

Thankyou

I am debating a heart rate monitor... And new workout leggings... I dare not tell my husband because he will steer me into buying a NASA level HR monitor I do not understand, and send me loads of links to disgusting leg wear that I then have to explain why it’s not my thing...

You have a wonderful username 🦋 I have had a sensor watch for several years. Before that it was a clip on pedometer that only measured steps. Now I check that I stand every hour, do a certain number of minutes exercise and the amount of calories burned per day. I find it a lot of fun and it really helps me push further. I’ve also been checking on my sleep patterns and I can see how much my sleep has improved with my change in eating and weight loss 😊I hope you enjoy it and that it helps you to challenge yourself in a good way to become healthier 🌻

Thankyou i really appreciate that, im hoping it helps with my sleep too, with being a university student who lives in halls it can be very tricky to influence yourself to sleep when you hear your friends messing around lol

Hi Happybutterfly just love your enthusiasm . I am an owner of fit bit but would love to know the book you are using, thought I might give it a go myself. I have been a member for about 2 years now and I am not proud of myself as I have managed to increased my weight instead of reducing. Covid 19 has been a serious problem for me. Reading your post, however, has ignited my determination and need to get myself sorted. I seriously hope you don’t mind me following you and using you as my weight loss buddy.

So here is hoping...........
