Today has been a little more challenging but more rewarding. The craving and urges are a little harder but then I haven't denied myself anything for a while and exercised as much. Still, I have managed to get through it and I will keep going regardless and complete my personal seven day challenge. I have reflected on a more challenging day in my new post: seanfit1973.wixsite.com/fat...
I hope you have all managed to get through your day today motivated and positively.
Stay safe and stay strong.

I’m glad to see you are finding ways to beat the cravings 👍. That’s one of the toughest parts of moving to a new diet. When I started I switched out my unhealthy snacks for healthier ones (a very small handful of peanuts, Brazils, macadamias or a dozen raspberries or blueberries) After a week or two I didn’t need even those snacks, as I realised if I had a drink of tea, coffee or water first, my craving waned. I know there are many different reasons for cravings - I took the bbc.co.uk/food/articles/wha... quiz and found I was a “Constant craver”. Helpfully they also suggest ideas for how to address that type. I hope that one of these ideas helps you in your renewed quest 🗡😊
Hi Sheperdess, I can always rely on you for good advice and to help my motivation. I have certainly been drinking lots of tea, coffee and water and it really does help to beat down cravings. I have also begun to recognise when I am hungry but also when I am simply thirsty, so that is also helping. It has also helped, during my reflections, that I have found that cravings are worse at certain times of the day and this has also helped me to prepare for them and to squash them before they start. Thank you again for your support and advice, it's always gratefully received!
