Over the last 2 years I have lost 6½st. Inspired by a comment made by a health professional saying this gentleman is extremely obese. I was 25st 7lb and a couch potato eating machine I have really felt the difference I am not asthmatic anymore non diabetic and find it easier to get around now ie no pain in the knees. I just wanted to say my word that kept me going and still does is focus that it folks if you want it real bad.. nothing is impossible to a willing heart

Focus and be flexible
What a lovely positive reminder of what can be achieved with Focus (and the right food choices)! Are you coming back onto the Forum Daddybear...looks as if it was a while ago that you last posted so just wondering. Are you maintaining your lost weight as we have a maintainers group?
I often get links sent through about what others get up to so yes is the answer
Maintainer's badge assigned 👍Keep in touch !🤗 I'll add link for Maintainer's group

Cheering you on to maintain successfully 🎉🎉🎉
That’s wonderful to hear Daddybear and so inspirational to those of us still on our journey from obese territory. It would br great to hear some of your thoughts on how you manage to keep the weight off too 😊
Thankyou for an inspirational post Daddybear, you are a fantastic example of determination. As you say, you need to really want it, and until recently Ive been too lazy/distracted/in denial, all of the excuses would do, but what was lacking was actually wanting it. Thats the turning point. For me, it was weighing myself on some very fancy app connected scales my son kindly sent me (hint hint)checking my bmi and nhs recommended weight and understanding that I was 22lbs overweight. I put 22 cans like soup etc in a bag and could hardly lift it. That made me wake up to how much better I would feel when it was finally shifted. So far5 cans lighter and feel so much better mentally.
