Hello samellis93 and welcome to this Forum! What z great target, getting ready for Bali!!! You will have been sent a Welcome post which gives you lots of advice and links to useful information on how to get the most out of this site. This is worth a good read 😁

We recommend joining a Weekly Weigh in on the day of your choice, and using the Daily Diary, where members log their meal plans and get useful feedback. A key feature of the Forum is the support between members which you will experience as you join in.

Please also read this information about security/privacy, especially as your post is unlocked

You will see you have been awarded a date badge to mark your joining us. Different badges(e.g. to note weight loss stages and other events) are added to active members who participate on the Weigh In days. You will see these as you explore the site.

In short our advice is,to make the most of the forum, please join in with activities, read and reply to posts, ask questions and encourage others – it will benefit you and support your progress, all best ! 😊

Ah, what we eat makes more impact on weight loss than exercise and you dont need a trainer to do useful exercise. The NHS site can provide info on Couch to 5k ,walking and building up distance and pace is great exercise. £££'s are not required, don't worry. Cutting out processed food, sugar(biscuits, cakes),eating more vegetables are obvious places to start but don't panic. This is a journey of making healthy choices not a crash course. Many people on here follow Low carb High fat,if you dip into the Daily Diary and Weigh Ins you'll see what I mean. Will try and add another link for you

dietdoctor.com/low-carb

Think you have plenty there to explore but keep asking away if any queries. People are really helpful and supportive on here

Have a look here, it is worth using the links within this to get a BMI calculation which recommends a calorie range for you and

nhs.uk/conditions/polycysti...

the NHS link also gives advice on foods.

Choosing a Weigh in day and joining today"s and today's Daily Diary (both are open until 9pm)and chatting with others will give you ideas about foods

Hi samellis, what a brilliant way to do your countdown to a holiday in Bali. I'm sure you will be supernstunning!!

, Welcome to this amazing forum. I'm still new here,I suggest you spend some time clicking about to find your way round. It's easier if you have a lap-top as there are several threads.

Have a good read of the newbie pack and follow every thread.

I strongly suggest you read and contribute to the Daily Diary and participate in a weekly weigh in.

You will find there's loads of tips about better eating, from other members. Sharing your daily menu not only helps you, it can help other members too.

Good luck I hope to "see " you around. xx🎅🎄

Hi, samellie93 and welcome :)

There are a few things here about PCOS. All of them suggest that a low carb high fat approach is the way to go, rather than calorie counting. You'll find plenty of members of the forum that eat that way and very much enjoy it.

Have a read and come back with any questions. Then, as Diane2 suggests, choose your day to join a weigh in and start using the Daily Diary to post your meal plans.
