I’m following that group just have no idea where to start and I had a Pt before but with being a nursing student can’t afford anything with the bursary 😭
Ah, what we eat makes more impact on weight loss than exercise and you dont need a trainer to do useful exercise. The NHS site can provide info on Couch to 5k ,walking and building up distance and pace is great exercise. £££'s are not required, don't worry. Cutting out processed food, sugar(biscuits, cakes),eating more vegetables are obvious places to start but don't panic. This is a journey of making healthy choices not a crash course. Many people on here follow Low carb High fat,if you dip into the Daily Diary and Weigh Ins you'll see what I mean. Will try and add another link for you
Hi samellis, what a brilliant way to do your countdown to a holiday in Bali. I'm sure you will be supernstunning!!
, Welcome to this amazing forum. I'm still new here,I suggest you spend some time clicking about to find your way round. It's easier if you have a lap-top as there are several threads.
Have a good read of the newbie pack and follow every thread.
I strongly suggest you read and contribute to the Daily Diary and participate in a weekly weigh in.
You will find there's loads of tips about better eating, from other members. Sharing your daily menu not only helps you, it can help other members too.
There are a few things here about PCOS. All of them suggest that a low carb high fat approach is the way to go, rather than calorie counting. You'll find plenty of members of the forum that eat that way and very much enjoy it.
Have a read and come back with any questions. Then, as Diane2 suggests, choose your day to join a weigh in and start using the Daily Diary to post your meal plans.
