Welcome! Perhaps you would like to join our Maintainers’ Club. They “meet” once a moth and the last post is here: healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...

You say you have lost your weight through a combination of dieting and exercise - tell us a little bit more. What do you eat / enjoy eating? I think maintenance is about finding out what fits you. Finding out what you are willing to do for the rest of your life.

I thought I had it figured out as I ran a lot and was able to maintain my weight even though I ate pretty much whatever I fancied. But then I got injured and gained the whole thing back. This time I’m losing the weight the same way I intend to maintain, by tracking everything I eat and staying within a fixed calorie allowance.

I hope you find your approach.

Hi and welcome, Anasmohamed8 :)

Many congratulations! That's a terrific achievement!

You've had some great suggestions from PippiRuns. My concern is that you've mentioned dieting, so any return to the way of eating before weight loss could very well result in weight gain. You need to find a way of eating that's sustainable and won't undo all your hard work and this may help phcuk.org/wp-content/upload...

I would urge you to join our Maintainers' Club and to log your menus on our daily diary. Both of these things will keep you focused and will help you transition from weight loss, to weight maintenance.

Follow this link to our chat thread and a list of all the activities we run. We've found active participation to be key to success, especially with our weigh-ins and Daily Diary.
